"I admire Modernist and Brutalist Style, and a mix of metals and stones. I also like to intermix Sterling, Bronze and Copper, working with contrasts of highly polished surfaces against ancient looking rugged and distressed metals created by hand and hammer."

All of the Cherokee Silver Arts jewelry is hand made in Tahlequah Oklahoma, the home of the Cherokee Nation. I am privileged to be a tribal citizen, that has many talented artists and musicians in my Cherokee ancestry. My Native American grandfather was Felix A. Twist of Tahlequah Oklahoma, and Willow Springs Missouri.  My Mother, Virginia Bebe Twist Williams, was a wonderful pastel artist, and encouraged me to follow my art. For my family, I am thankful. - Wado
